This project involved the design of a dewatering system for the construction of the 1.7-mile long west dam foundation at the Metropolitan Water District's Eastside Reservoir near Hemet, California. Prior to implementation of a final dewatering design, field aquifer testing, pump test data analysis and groundwater modeling were conducted by Hydro Analysis. The required drawdown of the groundwater table was achieved approximately one week ahead of schedule.
